The group has been founded in 2026 in order to be able to define horizontal (non product oriented) proactive policy stances to serve as a proactive, strategic partner in shaping European policy. Rather than viewing “trade” through a narrow lens, the group links legislative influence directly to industrial efficiency, competitiveness, and customer value. The group regularly feeds position into Orgalim’s Trade WG.
